Faulty Singer 2273 sewing machine (Bromley BR2)

Singer 2273 sewing machine. This machine is faulty, it does run but the bobbin and needle seem to run out of sync.
Hopefully it is an easy fix for someone more mechanically inclined than me, or maybe it can be used for parts.
