High-end, opulent traditional dresser featuring a polished dark marble-inlay top, detailed acanthus carvings, antique metal hardware, and a matching detachable arched mirror. This is part of a larger multi-piece bedroom suite where the other matching pieces are being kept.
Why it is FREE:
This piece is easily worth several hundred dollars on the resale market, but it is priced FREE specifically to subsidize your moving crew costs. I am downsizing and this piece must be picked up and hauled away by End of Day (EOD) on Thursday, September 24th.
Dimensions:
Dresser: 72" wide (6 feet left to right) x 22" deep (from the wall) x 40" high
Mirror (at widest points): 50 1/2" wide (left to right) x 46" high
Crucial Moving & Pickup Logistics (Please Read Carefully):
• Stairs & Weight: The dresser is currently located on an upper floor and must be navigated down one flight of stairs. Between the solid hardwood frame and real stone marble top, it is exceptionally heavy. In the past, it has required three (3) strong men to move safely. Hiring a professional moving crew (or bringing at least 3 experienced lifters with moving straps/dollies) is strongly advised.
• Mirror Detaches: The arched mirror completely unscrews and separates from the rear support battens for safe transport.
• Removable Drawers: All drawers can be pulled completely out to significantly reduce the weight of the main carcass before lifting.
• Vehicle Requirement: Will not fit in standard passenger cars or small SUVs. You will need a pickup truck, cargo van, or box truck, along with furniture pads/blankets.
Details & Condition:
Top: Genuine dark inlaid marble with natural veining in excellent condition.
Condition: Clean, sturdy, and exceptionally well cared for.
Deadline: Must be gone by EOD 9/24. First-come, first-served with confirmed logistics.
Location: Local pickup in Arlington (DC metro area)
Fair Chance Policy: I’ll wait before choosing a recipient to give more people a chance to reply.
