My husband and I have been scammed recently out of thousands of pounds by a cowboy builder. We are in the process of reporting through the proper channels but according to previous victims of his, it's not looking like we can recover the money lost.

My husband and I have been scammed recently out of thousands of pounds by a cowboy builder. We are in the process of reporting through the proper channels but according to previous victims of his, it's not looking like we can recover the money lost.

Our home is not in a livable condition and we have a baby. I know this is a huge ask, but are there any tradesmen out there that would consider gifting their services to finish some of the unfinished works so that the house can be safe to live in please?

We have no more money. Could provide proof of being scammed. Happy to be used as a social media boost. We just want our home to be livable and for our baby to be safe.
