One advantage of this item is that when you pour your cuppa, any overspill drains through the slotted surface and into the reservoir below.
It is a traditionally designed tray with a reservoir for the water you pour away in your tea ceremony.
The slotted bamboo (or wooden) tray enables discarded water to drain and collect below in the plastic tray.
