Old iPod classics (East Village, New York City)

I'm looking to fix and modify an old iPod classic, 5th 6th or 7th generation, and need the motherboard from it to update the device for my personal usage. It can be in any shape, even broken, as I will be using new parts to fix the battery, screen and case. Instead of throwing away your old iPod please let me try to give it another life and fix it up. Not for resale but for my personal use. I can come to you to pick it up.
I had one working but I had it stolen from me earlier this summer and really miss using it to listen to music.
