I've had this many years from Canada. It's approximately 250 ft of 31 ohm microphone cable. I think it had the part number 9396 on it but the label is a bit faded now.
The black marks you might make out in the photo are just a tiny bit of surface mildew which wipes straight off with a damp cloth.
