Fresh quince fruit, to be harvested in October/November (Great Longstone DE45)

We have a single quince tree that is full of fruit, much more than we can use. After harvesting, fruit is available by the carrier bag full, as much as you can use, although there will probably too much for a single family

RHS “ Quinces will keep for two or three months, so have the benefit of a long season of use. They can’t be eaten raw, but can be turned into deliciously aromatic jams, jellies, sweet pies and tarts, and a traditional Spanish quince paste called membrillo.”
