Soil for growing Veggies in Pots (Tampa)

Want to try my hand at growing vegetables in pots but don't want to spend a lot of money on a venture that might not work out well. I could use some Potting Soil or the ingredients to make it - Perlite or vermiculite or Rice Hulls, Peat Moss or Coconut coir. If anyone has any of this stuff laying around with no plans to use it, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
