Beach fishing equipment (Ca7 3bd bridge house)

Hi all. I want to have a try at sea fishing when I go camping with my lad at silloth and want to see if he’s going to enjoy it before I start buying tackle to find out he sits there whinging so if anybody has a old set up willing to part with that would be great. Thanks for looking.
