Ficus tree with scale (needs rehab) (Park Slope)

2 year old ficus tree that has a scale problem (tiny insects that produce a sticky residue). We would normally treat it with Bonide systemic pellets, but we have a 10 month old who gets into everything. If one of you has the desire to rehab the tree, we can provide the Bonide along with the tree. Evidently it’s pretty effective. Pot not included, we’d give it to you with the soil in a trash bag.
