The drill works as far as I know, and the battery charger has been checked by a Lancaster Repair Cafe volunteer and seems okay. However sadly, the battery no longer charges so isn't included here. So whoever takes it will need to either have another tool using similar (now obsolete) batteries, or be confident they can obtain a suitable replacement. There seem to be various options on the internet, but careful research and financial outlay will be necessary.
