Back yard habitat (Chaney Crest Hill)

We have a beautiful oak that needs to be taken down due to disease and our wild backyard friends will lose their home. Looking for anything that we can use to create safe spaces for them until we have new foliage? I have loads of feeders but no housing for my darling creatures.
