Antique painted pine cupboard (Highbury N7)

Description

Beautiful vintage-style painted wooden wardrobe/cupboard with drawers, featuring charming original character and plenty of storage.

86cms wide, 152cm tall, 53cms deep.

This is a lovely substantial piece with a traditional design, painted in an off-white/cream colour and finished with red ceramic-style knobs, giving it a distinctive country/shabby-chic look.

The cupboard has:

Two full-height doors with moulded/panelled fronts
Three drawers underneath
Generous internal hanging/storage space
Decorative moulded detailing
Turned feet
Original-style red knobs
Solid, substantial construction
It would work particularly well in a child's bedroom, guest room, country-style bedroom, or as a statement storage piece.

Condition

Please note this is a vintage/used piece and shows signs of age and previous use. There are various chips, scuffs, scratches and areas of worn paint, particularly around the edges and corners. The interior also has marks consistent with use. One of the drawer fronts is loose but could be stuck back in with wood glue.

One of the drawers is shown removed in the photographs to demonstrate the construction/interior. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

The imperfections are part of its vintage character, but it could also be a great candidate for repainting/restoration if you prefer a more polished finish.

Collection

Collection only due to the size and weight of the cupboard. It will require a suitable vehicle and two people to move it safely.

Please check that the dimensions will work for your intended space, doorways and vehicle before purchasing.

A lovely, characterful vintage storage piece with lots of potential.
