It has 3 blades. 2 store in the unit and the other is installed in the unit during storage.

The blade with the smallest holes creates thin spaghetti-like continuous cuts.
The blade with the larger holes creates medium-think continuous cuts.
The straight blade creates ribbon-like cuts.

 I used it mostly to turn zuchinni into "zoodles", or zuchinni noodles. It can be used to make curly fries and a lot of other things. It allows you to get creative.

It purchased the sprializer attachment to my KitchenAid Stand Mixer so it is no longer needed in my kitchen. I hope someone can make good use of it.
