Brabantia bin 30litre - but lid is broken and will not open (Bradford on Avon BA15)

The lid does not spring open anymore. To fix this you will need to open up the lid mechanism and fix it - need to melt the plastic studs that hold it together and then see if the spring can be realigned or other fixes are needed. Beyond my skill-set.
