This was the "animal"model. It has lost some suction but I confirmed it still works this morning. The plastic pull to release the canister for emptying broke off so it's a little challenging to grab the nub to empty it.
It was used in a house with dogs and cats but I cleaned it up and blew the dust out of it.
But hey - free vacuum!
