Woodworking/Lathe Timber (Sutton Bridge PE12)

I'm looking for timber I can use on a lathe.
 Please, I am not looking for firewood.
I'm not after a lot either. A handful of logs will will be great.

Just about any wood will do - ash, birch, maple, yew, oak, beech, wild cherry, fruit trees etc.

My lathe is not big, so anything up to about 20cm in diameter will do. I might be able to cut longer pieces shorter.

So, please, if you cut down a tree, a few pieces will be much appreciated. I cannot really afford to buy it online.
