Painted solid wood.
Very solid, sturdy chest of drawers, not in the slightest bit wobbly or rickety!
Sort of matches the bedside cabinets I've also posted if you need those too.
It could be repainted if you prefer, has paint chips in places but looks kind of shabby chic tbh.
There's a couple of patches on the top where we got some glue which has discoloured.all shown in pics.
