Square picture frame (Kidlington OX5)

This was purchased from M&S. Not sure what kind of wood it is. Frame size is just under 12". The window is just over 10". The aperture in the mount is just under 6". There is slight damage to the frame (see pic 2). If you are able to fix that it would make a perfectly usable frame.
