Vintage Simplex Ironing Board – Acton London – Retro Metal Folding Board - Collection Only
This item is in Burgess Hill

All the details
Original vintage Simplex ironing board, made in Acton, London.
A great old household piece with its original maker’s label, perforated metal top and distinctive yellow folding legs. The top appears to be aluminium or aluminium alloy, with painted metal legs.

It has genuine age-related wear and patina, including some rust around the edges. The pink padded cover is very worn and would need replacing, but that rather adds to its vintage character.
Ideal for a vintage home, restoration project, theatre/film prop, shop display or simply for someone who appreciates original mid-century household pieces.
