rigid tubes/rods/poles (South Central)

Looking for rigid tubes, rods, dowels, or poles at least 50" long and approximately 5/8" outside diameter for an urgent personal project. Needing material as soon as possible on a pitifully low budget.. can be PVC, carbon fiber, wood, aluminum, or other suitable materials. Just as long as their structurally sound, as I'm using them to manufacturer a new dragon staff or contact staff for flow arts to replace mine that was recently stolen.
Scrap pieces, offcuts, or leftover materials are perfectly fine! Preferably free, but let me know what you have. Thanks!
