Appliqué bag - for craft project? (Horningsea CB25)

I have a lovely handbag that has seen better days…but is too pretty to just recycle. I wondered if anyone would like to butcher it for something else? Or fix the zip and lining? The pleather strap is flaking and needs replacing too. Posting here just on the off chance someone crafty might make use of it before it goes…
