Brass standing lamp, partly working (Scholes LS15)

This lamp is about 6ft tall and has two lights. The reading light, on a flexible stem, works fine, but the uplight at the top does not work, and we've been told by an electrician that it is not repairable as the switch has broken and cannot be replaced. Offered as it is, collection only.
