It has the wear and tear that might be expected from being slept on for seven years by medium sized people. We are getting rid of it to get a new one (same type) because there are slight 1/2 to 3/4 inch depressions that can be found with a level where we sleep and we have bad backs. It would be a nice mattress for younger people or people who don’t have sensitive backs and are looking for something free, bed bug free, smoke free, and natural. It’s made of natural latex from tree sap.

We do have a cat, though she hasn’t been on the mattress without a sheet in between.

Since it is a mattress it is very heavy. You will have to arrange a truck to come get it and at least two strong people to move it (sorry, I can’t help much due to back pain).

I’m happy to answer questions. We set up a bulky waste pick up but wanted to see if anybody would benefit from a free mattress before that happens.
