🚗 HELP WANTED – CREATING A PLAYROOM FOR MY BOYS! 🚜

I’m currently turning our loft into a little playroom for my three boys and would love to make it somewhere they can play, build, read, relax and have their own little space.

I’m trying to do it on a budget, so before buying everything new, I thought I’d put a post out to see if anyone locally has anything they’re looking to get rid of or would be happy to donate.

I’ve attached an AI-generated inspiration image to give an idea of what I’m hoping to achieve. Obviously, I’m not expecting anything quite that fancy 😂 but hopefully it gives an idea of the look and feel I’m going for!

I’m particularly looking for:

🏎️ Toy storage units, Kallax-style units, cube storage or toy chests
📚 Bookshelves, book racks and children’s books
💡 Lamps, fairy lights, LED lights or anything to make the room cosy
🧸 Beanbags, floor cushions, rugs, blankets and soft furnishings
🪑 Small chairs, little tables or children’s seating
🧺 Storage baskets, boxes and organisers
🚧 Toy cars, trucks, construction toys and play mats
🏁 Disney Pixar Cars bits and pieces would be AMAZING as the boys absolutely love Cars!

I’m also creating a little cosy reading/den corner, so anything suitable for that would be brilliant.

I’m happy to collect locally and would be so grateful for anything anyone has going spare, even if it’s not on the list. Things don’t need to be perfect – I’m more than happy to give things a bit of love!
