NEW RAC pet carrier damaged (Littleover DE23)

This pet carrier arrived damaged, see the last photo the black piece is what fell off in transit.I got a refund and was told to dispose of this.Other then this peice that fixes to the door part its in immaculate condition.Anyone good at d.i.y would be able to fix it.Seems a shame to throw it away.
