Table/laptop desk (Witton le Wear DL15)

This is a very adjustable table/laptop desk, bought for working from home during lockdown but not used since retirement. It’s on castors, legs fit under chair/bed/sofa, and the top can be turned to any direction. The top is height adjustable and it tilts in both directions. Top is in two sections which tilt independently of each other (angle your laptop and still have a flat surface for your coffee). The width across between the two legs is 60cm plus the legs. Each leg is 46cm long (front to back in the pic). The table top is 69cm x 40cm in total (the smaller section is 20 x 40 approx). It’s a nifty bit of furniture. Doesn’t have to be a laptop desk, could be used for breakfast in bed or as a crafting table. Collection only from near Witton le Wear and it is possible you may need to carry it down from an upstairs room. Will try to bring it down myself but mobility isn’t very good so might not be able to. Vintage silk handbag and velvet embroidered hat (Witton le Wear DL15)

I think the bag is Edwardian but not certain, definitely old enough to be antique. It’s black silk with a cream silk lining, and diamonte on the clasp. Inside there’s a purse which is attached, and also a little mirror, though the glass is badly cracked. The hat is small sized, Indian, green velvet with beautiful wire embroidery and its 1970s. I’m told that Tatty Devine is a sought after designer brand, and that their pieces retain their value (whatever it might be!). This was a very generous gift a few years ago but it’s not really my taste so it’s never been worn and is still in original box as you can see.
