Request: Small dinner plates (Lewes, BN7) Hello, Does anyone happen to have some plain dinner plates, max 25cm? Ours are too big for our new table top dishwasher, and also tiny flat...! Happy to make an exchange should you want our bigger ones. Side note - love this community! Have just had a really stressful move after an eviction mid-pregnancy and the friendly strangers from here who have lent a hand have just meant the world. This idea that we can all help each other without putting greed first, is actually very much alive and thriving even when it doesn't feel like it. :) Linn

Request: Moving boxes (Lewes, High Street BN7) Expired Hello all! Me and my husband have been given an eviction notice and are in desperate need of moving boxes. Does anyone in Lewes have any to spare? We have some time but I am currently 4 months pregnant so hoping to get the packing started before I get too heavy.

Request: Chairs (Lewes, High Street) Received If anyone has any chairs for our dinner table we would be so grateful. The cheap ones we got from the charity shop have all broken beyond repair and we're all on very tight budgets. Are currently down to two chairs in a household of four so it would be a life saver! They don't need to match just be whole.

Request: Fabric for Hobby Horse making (Lewes, High Street) Expired Hello, I'm doing a project where I'm making hobby horses out of recycled materials. If anyone has any bigger pieces of fabric, old curtains, blankets or pillows for stuffing in the Lewes-area I'd love to collect them. It's a bit of an experiment at this point, but I'm hoping to make and sell hobby horses as a bit of a side-gig and include a charitable option where you can get a hobby horse for a child from a low income family. Hopefully it can be a nice little meaningful bit of work for me whilst reducing waste and bringing some nice hand crafted toys to folks that wouldn't normally have the dosh for such things. Feel free to let me know if you'd like to be involved in some capacity. [ Items received in response to this request will be resold ]

Free: Hoover (Lewes, High Street) Gifted Russel Hobbs Titan bagless hoover. Have only had it for 3ish years. The suction is not as good as it once was, it's possible it can be repaired, but we decided to go for a Henry hoover instead. However, it does still work and does the job fairly enough. Comes with different accesories. Has a HEPA filter.
