Free: Wooden Chicken Hutch PossiblyUseful Parts- chicken run frame (Greysouthen CA13) Downsized flock. Need to dispose of old wooden chicken hutch(5'x4'approx) Metal frame holding base together makes it very heavy to move (probably 4 people and rollers!) but battery operated autodoor appears to still work and recently renovated 4 nestbox unit and felt roof in good order. If anybody building own hutch and can use these parts(or wants whole hutch including base) I can save them from skip . Also have more than enough tubular metal framework parts to build a large 20'x12' 6'tall chicken run ( need to get netting to cover tension and cable tie over). Got in a hurry at earlier 'flockdown'- supplierssent smaller size so had to improvise till spare set of poles received so more poles than needed now but needs careful sorting before bolting together and covering.Photo shows type of tubing- about 1 1/2 inch very robust- and joints - several winters out so wing nuts a bit rusty. If base rails placed on boards to avoid vegetation/ soil clarting them up with help this could be lifted and moved around as needed after assembly If at all interested please contact soonest.

Free: Garden Polytunnel Frame 6mx3.8m (2m high) (Greysouthen CA13) Gifted Good condition All parts and screws present . Older design 5 hoops that screw in to base timbers arranged in rectangle and then bolt together above with transverse and longitudinal strengthening crop bars inside - also angled brace poles from hoops 2and 4 to ends ( see photo) Needs new cover (several internet suppliers)that would have to be fastened to timber base around outside by screws and battens to base timbers possibly burying surplus edge for more security and new tape on hoops and bars to protect cover from rubbing. Sliding door each end left intact in frame with sheet door but these may need dismantling or additional eg wood frame around to fix main cover to ends. Has given 15+ years good service and many crops unheated - beans tomatoes cucumbers squashes etc. Would suit individual or community project on a budget with the space, available base timbers and enough help to set up. Suggest keeping base slightly above well draining ground as rain sheds down sides . Dismantled to transportable units. Enquiries and if appropriate , inspection welcome. I have exhausted possibilities to give away in the village ( allotments too small) and will otherwise need to take to metal recycling.
