I am preparing for an international museum about 40yrs of lesbian life… part of my lesbian life is as materials engineer doing composting. Rain water harvesting & recycling from childhood (1970s) & my current eco— retrofit. I often find unwanted frames one way or another & re-using old even slightly damaged one all feeds into that minimum footprint gig.

Metal rods fit firmly together. Not aesthetic but v useful & when you don’t need it just tape it up with masking tape. Sorry to lose it but my life has moved on & declutter declutter declutter is the order of the day. I don’t promise anything, had too many let downs but broadly 1st fone 1st served. I give clear directions consistent with internet safety. I leave on my doorstep on a day when I know someone is coming. Minimum drama pls. The weather has made things difficult, this remains on my front doorstep. I have mountains of work to do, I just want to get things shifted with minimum of fuss. I am going thru the replies in turn . I have fitted locks for 40 years, have an MSc in IT Human interfaces... I am autistic and am left insensible by the illogical setup of these things... oh and the incomplete instructions which expect you to ring their 'help' line because they couldnt be bothered to provide logical instructions in the first place. Of course the location of the door in question has no reception for mobiles...and they expect you to hold a fone whilst also manipulating the lock. The last thing any of us need is more batteries in our lives... the customer 'service' from Yale is a special kind of nightmare. Any tips any help perhaps we can interact online...

Bizarre how they never resolved bath panelling but they didnt. They are painfully expensive but awkward if u dont have one. You might have a different use for it eg in garden but...i have no car & a lift to tip at 11am on Saturday so take it before then from front of house OR im afraid it is off to the landfill. Worth a try anyway. You just never know.

Principles of leverage hard wired into instincts long before formal teaching 8n Yr7 & Yr8 Maths & DT... decent history too. Quaker: apologises for military metaphor (but u dont have to tell 'em that!)
