300+ children’s books (Bromsgrove B61)

Huge lot of children’s books, recently cleared from a booksellers shop. Over 300 in total. All in good intact condition, some a little dusty but will clean up. Mostly young children’s fiction and picture books, with some young adult paperbacks, and some kids educational books. Some older and more classic authors and stories dotted in. It would be such a shame to have these in a skip, hopefully someone can find some use!

Vintage Maglite torch for repair (Bromsgrove B61)
Vintage Maglite torch for repair, great piece of American manufacturing. Solid metal build. I wanted to restore this myself, but I just can’t get the base off! It needs someone with a vice or two very good clamps. The tools I have available just can’t do it. I think there are batteries inside which have corroded, and it’s corroded that bottom screw piece shut. It would be a shame to scrap this, 20+ years ago it was my dads, it’s so well made. Working ones still sell quite well, so hopefully someone can enjoy the project and get it working again.

Colwelt manual rotary lawn edger, used once for a small patch of grass. In excellent condition. Requires a fair bit of strength, you put your foot on the bar and push the wheel along, which cuts the grass at a clean edge.

Packard Bell desktop computer, with a Dell monitor and a wired keyboard. Sorry no mouse - I had to keep that for my new computer. Fully working and recently wiped. It’s quite an old model. Running Windows 7. Ideal for someone who just wants a starter computer to browse the web, type up some documents, or strip it for parts. I would prefer this to go to a good home and someone who needs/will use it, rather than any intentions to sell it on. Thanks

Old metal mitre saw (Bromsgrove B61)

Used to be my dad’s. It seems to work fine, the angle movement works, and I’ve tested the saw on a piece of wood and it does make a cut. I would imagine given its age it might need a service/new blade. Not too heavy, but all metal. My dad modified it to have a block that then fits on a table bench edge. This is just screwed on, so you can take it off if you like.
