I bought this chair brand new 4 years ago. The fabric on the seat got stained somehow (possibly my kids spilled soda on it). I decided to change the living room color scheme anyway, so I didn't try to get out the stain. The mechanism works excellent, and it's very comfortable.

It works well but my son abused the top of the desk. So it could use a paint job.
