Request:
Magnet fishing kit (GL1)
I'd like to have a go at magnet fishing. It's the sort of hobby that I suspect gets packed away and forgotten about, so I'm asking here incase anyone has a magnet fishing magnet and rope tucked away in a shed that I could rehome please? Thanks for reading

Wheelbarrow inner tube (GL1)

Used, size as per image. I bought a tyre with a new inner tube as was almost the same price as just a tyre. This seems too good to throw away, but It'll just be lost in the shed if we keep it. Collection Podsmead Gloucester

IKEA king size mattress (GL1)
200 by 150cm. Has damage, but IKEA refused to honour their guarantee about the rips in the foam and a rip in the fabric near one of the four handles. The outer fabric looks bad but we had a disabled dog who had a few accidents in her last few months. All accidents were immediately washed with a zoflora disinfectant solution and I used a wet vacuum cleaner on it many times to regularly clean it. **Sadly fire treated upholstery like this always looks like nasty yellow rings as it goes funny when washed.** In the majority of photos you can see the foam inside, after I've removed the outer fabric. It was attached via a big zip, so I've unzipped, removed it, and careful washed it flat in my bathroom. So this cover is clean and currently drip drying over a strong clothes horse. I intend to use the Vax on it tomorrow in the daytime to remove some more of the soapy water. The damage to the foam is on the top layer but someone clever could replace it if they wanted it to feel like new, it's just a 1inch foam layer, glued down. I could feel the creases in the foam, but I have chronic fatigue (and highly likely I'm autistic) and spend a lot of time in bed, so comfort matters a lot to me. I'd rather not send this to landfill if I can avoid it - hence the effort to clean it. With a good mattress topper you'd unlikely feel anything wrong. If the strains were actually dirty, I'd not be giving this away. If this mattress was the sort you could flip upside down, I'd be keeping it. It was looked after, it's just a shame that washing patches made the yellow rings. Hopefully they will be gone or almost gone after drying. I cannot carry this, I'm not strong enough, sorry.

Ironing board (GL1)

Minky brand. Has 2 covers on it, underneath the one you can see is a blue and pink geometric type pattern. Sturdy legs, hardly iron since my youngest kid is in college, thank goodness for no more white cotton shirts to iron every weekend. This is simply collecting dust, so needs a new home.

An orange ferrule. Wrong size was sent to me. It's 28mm diameter, which is pretty chunky. Most walking sticks take 18 to 22mm ferrules.

Dymo label printer (GL1)

Works and has spare cartridges BUT the screen doesn't work so you can't see what you've typed. Maybe someone can fix it. Is useable without screen if you type basic words and just print and don't mess about with the font size, or want to type special characters like *!.

Garden rugs (GL1)
Expired
Hello neighbours. Does anyone have one or maybe even a few of these plastic garden mats please? Maybe you bought them in summer but don't actually get on with the things? If you have them spare, I would like them to help weather proof bunny hutches. I have proper rabbit hutch covers, made from fabric and insulation for the roof and 3 sides, but they make the fronts from a clear plastic, like the stuff they use for tent windows. After the first year these windows go brittle and crack. So I was thinking, garden rugs. They are designed for outdoor all weather use, and they are flexible so less likely to crack in freezing weather, but they'd let air through while restricting the rain. I could attach them along the top front of the hutch to replace the plastic "windows". In daylight, or warm weather, they'd be folded back to allow daylight in, and at night just drop them back down, sort of like Venitian blinds without cords. Thank you on behalf of my 8 adopted bunnies for reading!

Built-in dishwasher Bosch (GL1)
Gifted
Used condition, received from TrashNothing for my mother who said she wanted a dishwasher, but has changed her mind. It has a cream/white cupboard door that could do with being replaced, but I don't see any other faults with it. Has been unplugged and unused for a while, so will need a few empty wash programmes running before using on your washing up. I have used bleach spray inside, because, as with any wet appliance left unused for a time it did have a build up of mould. Link with information about the dishwasher from Bosch including measurements. Would prefer it collected soon.

Glass Marbles (GL1)
Expired
Hello, if neighbours have any that are no longer played with, I'm looking for marbles. I have a glass jar I use as a plant pot holder, and it's around 1/3 full of marbles, it needs to be around 2/3rds full to better support my plant. (Photo included, looks better with natural light coming in the window, but it's winter and dark, her) Marbles, or those glass blobs you use as spare game counters, glass beads, bigger bits of sea glass, anything small, colourful and glass would be marvellous please.

I'd like about 2 meters of this is possible please. I just want to move an annoyingly positioned plug socket 🙂 Does anyone have a spare bit leftover after a project perhaps? Even better if you have a bit of earth sheathing tube spare too. Preferably in Gloucester

Internal doors (Gloucester GL2)
Expired
The wood is good but Bad condition paint! Painted with grey wall paint that doesn't like to be sanded off. 😳 Maybe good for building a shed, or a treehouse? Wood seems solid, I don't think it's box construction. Location Podsmead, Gloucester near Crypt school. Must be collected, in a van, or a *really* big estate car Moderator note - it is not safe to use treated wood for firewood, as it releases toxic fumes Kind Regards Diz Gloucester Freegle Volunteer gloucesterfreegle-volunteers@groups.ilovefreegle.org

Bath, toilet, sink (Gloucester GL2)
Gifted
*** Sink and shower screen allocated. Rest available*** Pottery sink and toilet, by armatige shanks. The bath is plastic, and I don't know the brand. Toilet and sink are in good condition, the cistern was leaking, but I've just fitted a new flush seal so it's fine. The bath is more suitable for a horse trough or to make a small pond. It's not cracked on the actual bath, but has damage at a corner (like where you'd keep your shampoo) and it has paint marks all over. We've been cleaning our paint brushes and rollers in the bath, knowing it's going to be replaced after our renovation project. Glass shower screen, taps and toilet seat could also be included. Available from the 30th, when it's due to be removed.
