Emporia EV Charger (Tacoma North End) Input voltage: 208/240VAC, Maximum output: 11.5kW/48A, NEMA 14-50, Enclosure rating: Type 4. You must have a NEMA 14-50 plug installed, or you can have an electrician hardwire it. If hardwired, this unit can deliver 48 amps; otherwise, if using a plug, 40 amps. This unit has a J1772 connector. I used this charger for less than a month when the battery in my EV died. I had to replace the car, and the new car had a Tesla charging port so it was either use an adapter every time or get a matching charger.
