NEUTRALISES EFFLORESCENCE – Rempro Salt Neutraliser is an aqueous surface treatment specifically developed to overcome the problem of white salts on mineral building surfaces from new render to old stone. It can be used on internal brickwork and masonry before applying render as part of a damp proof course. We do not recommend this product for external salting problems. USE ON DAMP WALLS – Salt affected plasterwork caused by rising damp must be removed, and re-plastering carried out following an appropriate re-plastering specification; however, in some situations such as when the plasterwork remains in good condition, a salt neutraliser can be applied directly to the original plaster, removing the immediate need for re-plastering. INTERNAL PROTECTION – Rempro Salt Neutraliser is a water-based formulation designed to penetrate the surface of interior walls. It immediately reacts with the salts in and on the substrate, neutralising them. It also creates an insoluble barrier against further salt movement into the surface.
