250 ml unopened tin of Rustin's brand Step & Tile gloss floor paint, in Tile Red, for interior or exterior use. Definitely liquid inside, but may need a good stir. 6 to 8 hours suggested between coats — depending on temperature and humidity. (Hotter and drier = faster.) "This tin will cover approximately 3 5 sq metres, in one coat, depending on the porosity of the surface", Rustn's says. (So, pethaps 1.5 sq metres or so, for two coats; 1 sq metres or less, if the surface is porous or textured.)

Cheffette three-speed hand mixer, with turntable stand and (removable) glass mixing bowl. Both mixer beaters are included, as is a small blender attachment that goes on the back of the mixer. (Blender to be used with mixer detached from stand, and resting on its flat front so the blender compartment is up. Blender lid not found.) Good & working condition. More compact than most modern versions. Does a lovely job on cakes and custards and cream.

A century of Jacob's Cream Crackers (Dalston E8)
Plastic-coated cloth apron, mostly coloured orange but with black neck and waste ties and with printing across the front in black, orange, and cream. It says 'Jacob's Cream Crackers, Original and Best', in orange and cream print upon a black patch in the middle of the apron. Beneath that, black type proclaims 'We've always been Crackers, 1885-1985'. The plastic is beginning to crack along the fold lines, and a few other places. Otherwise in good condition.

Two rolls of textured wallpaper — NOT self-stick —with raised stripes of pale yellow and green, on a creamy background. One roll is slightly 'foxed' at one end, after long storage: small spots of discolouration are scattered like freckles across the outside of the last two or three inches. The stripes repeat quickly, so matching during application should be pretty easy.

Lightweight wooden coffee table, dark brown, with upcurved ends such as were seen in the steam-shaped plywood fashionable in the '50s and 60s. Open shelf under the curved top, which we've used for storing litre bottles. Sturdy and in basically good condition but could use a light sanding on top and a good wipedown with, sat Danish oil finish — or just a few months of regular polishing.

Large clear kettle, from Brita, with their water filter mechanism inside. In very good condition, except for one important factor: the filter jug feature is fine but as a kettle, it doesn't work. Sadly, it has an electrical fault somewhere. We don't know if the problem is in the wire from plug to kettle base, in the kettle base itself, or perhaps even in the kettle. Replacing the fuse didn't cure it; instead, when we turned the kettle on, it's red power light flashed on for an instant, then the fuse blew. We have neither time nor energy for another project. If you do, this might make a terrific project for the next local Repair Café.

Pale wood and wood veneer side table or nightstand, with a shallow, near-invisible top drawer, an open shelf below the drawer, and a closed compartment below that. It is very lightweight yet strong, and provides efficient storage. The veneer on the tabletop, sadly, is delaminating and otherwise in poor condition; it needs repair or perhaps replacement with a new wood or marble top. A sliver of veneer is missing at the bottom of the drawer front. A small sliver at the bottom left side of the cabinet is still attached but needs reglueing. Otherwise, the piece is in surprisingly good condition, though it would benefit greatly from a better clean and a few rounds of polish.
