From beginning knitting and crochet to baby bags, Fair Isle waistcoats, fancy jumpers. The books are vintage but many of the styles are modern — and the techniques are timeless. In excellent condition; rarely if ever used.

2 pair clean curtains with a floral motif scattered across a cream background. 1 pair is very wide, 1 pair is narrower, both are long. (Measurements later.) Thin white coating on the back to increase draught resistance. Some slight flaws in the coating from washing. Light-filtering. NOT light-blocking, nor thermal.

Cream plastic mirrored cabinet with three doors. Wall mountable. Side cubbies each have a shelf halfway up; center cubby is full height. Holders for small items – razors, skinny toothbrushes, floss — clip to the doors, near top or bottom to suit your needs. The right two doors open towards each other, making it a good site for makeup application. Good condition, with mirrors intact and unfoxed, but does need a good wash.

We haven't a single bed anymore, so these aren't needed here.

Variety of light bulbs. * Fluorescent energy-saving bulbs, not very bright. * A bix of small (plus one standard bulb style) halogen, brighter and hotter than incandescent bulbs of same wattage. * Old-style incandescent bulbs, not very efficient at producing light (a lot of the energy goes to heat, instead) but good for taking the chill off a greenhouse or cold room in winter. * One globe-style LED bulb, 60 watt equivalent, warm white.

Short, wide, white laminate cupboard our friend had made to hold her microwave on top and roll under her kitchen countertop. We later used it to hold a small fridge. Loads of storage space inside. Four wheels underneath. Width: 25.5 inches / 65 cm Height: 23.75 inches / 60.5 cm (Plus a 1 inch ridge toward the back, that was to keep the microwave in place.) Depth: 20.5 inches / 52 cm Inside depth: 14.25 inches / 36 cm Very good condition.

From a tall Hotpoint fridge-freezer. Might also fit an Indesit or Beko or Whirlpool fridge or fridge-freezer.* Top two plastic-edged glass shelves from the fridge are in good condition. The bottom one has lost the plastic side pieces that supported it. Door shelves/compartments all in good shape except the (removable) cover for the butter shelf. Three of the freezer drawers are hanging in there — two, with a little help from parcel tape. (* "Hotpoint fridge freezers in Europe share parts primarily with Indesit and Whirlpool, as they are all part of the same manufacturer group (Beko Europe, formerly part of Whirlpool Corporation). In many cases, parts from these brands are identical or manufactured to the same specifications, with some spare parts listed as "Merloni (Indesit Group)" or used interchangeably." — Currys Partmaster)

3-piece wardrobe + bureau (Dalston E8)

This Schreiber wardrobe offers loads of useful storage. It comes in three sections: * two narrow wardrobes with bars to hang clothing, with swing-door storage compartments above; * and a center section, with four drawers; above which, a countertop and vanity mirror, with a light centered above the mirror; and a lift-door storage compartment at top. Each section is a separate piece; each is on small wheels. The materials are mid-tone wood-grain laminate over compressed fibreboard. The hanging rods are metal. The laminate has a few minor chips here and there; a small burn on the countertop; and some scratches around the upper-compartment knobs, from clothes hangers. One drawer guide needs to be glued back in. Overall, the unit is 51.5 cm deep (the shallower centre piece is 39 cm deep), by 138.5 cm wide, by 189.5 cm high. The two side pieces are each 38.6 cm wide; the bureau/vanity is 61 cm wide. (Further details on request.) It's currently in a first floor bedroom.
