Two extendable leaves make it easily adjustable from 8 to 12 seats, perfect for family gatherings and dinner parties. The top would benefit from a light re-varnish, making it a brilliant restoration project with spectacular potential. Otherwise it’s a rock-solid, impressive piece of furniture we’re sad to see go — simply too large for our space. The top detaches from the legs for easier transport, but you’ll need a large car or van for collection.
