Free: Fine Cooking (Glebe) This magazine ceased publication a few years ago but old issues are a mine of useful information and a source of inspiration for any cook, whether a home cook or a chef. I have about 90 issues from between 2000 and 2018 to give away to persons dedicated to creating healthy and delicious meals. Some issues have markers or taped lists of specially enticing recipes but the mags, which were kept in solid box files, are not marked and are in good condition.

Free: Back issues London Review of Books (Glebe) There’s lots of food for thought and great writing in this renowned magazine. I’d like to donate back issues (2022-25) to someone who likes to learn more about major authors, history and the complexity of current issues, and who enjoys challenging discourse.

Free: Interested in Indian Cooking? (Glebe) The two volumes by Julie Sahni, Classic Indian Cooking and Classic Indian Vegetarian and Grain Cooking, introduced North America to Indian cuisine; they are still considered classics. There’s lots of inspiration here for vegetarians and vegans! Both books are slightly used and in very good condition.

Free: German children's books (Glebe) A box of about 15 books in German for 5 to 15 year olds, some hardcovers, all in very good condition. A good way for a young person to maintain or improve their German. Authors include Janosch, Wilh. Busch (Max & Moritz), Walter Jens; Kinderbibel by Anne de Vries.
