Free: Large vintage-style button-back armchair – restoration/upcyc (Broomhill S10) Free to anyone who can collect this weekend after 3pm Saturday 26 September. Earliest collection will take priority as I really need it gone. There is no fire label. Large, substantial vintage-style armchair with deep buttoned upholstery, stud detailing and wooden legs. It has a lovely traditional shape and could look absolutely splendid with some TLC. Please look carefully at the photos as it is definitely a project rather than a chair in pristine condition. The leatherette is heavily cracked and worn in places, particularly on the seat and arms; some of the buttons are missing; and the black lining underneath has come away and needs restitching. There is general wear consistent with its age and use. That said, it is a very characterful chair and seems far too good simply to throw away. It could be a great restoration or reupholstery project for someone who enjoys bringing old furniture back to life. It is large and heavy, so please come prepared to move it. You will need a large estate car with the seats down or, preferably, a van. Free – collection only. Must be collected this weekend. I will give priority to whoever can collect soonest, rather than holding it for someone who may be able to come later. Please message me with when you can actually collect. Thank you

Free: Cherry wood sleigh bed frame King size (continental) (Broomhill S10) Gifted This is an impressive cherry wood sleigh bed frame, standard length. It needs a king-size divan and mattress. Please note that this is a continental king-size bed and not a UK king-sized bed, and is 170cm wide - around 10cm wider than a standard UK double bed. This means that if you have a standard UK king-sized mattress ( as we did), you will either have a gap or use the gap to tuck in your duvet. The bed is disassembled and is in four pieces: the head, the foot and the two sides. There are no slats, so a divan base is required. The bed is in good condition but there are a few scratches. You will need a van and two people to collect ( you will need to carry it downstairs). It is not that heavy, just awkward. Unfortunately, the bed was disassembled before we decided to donate it so there is no photo of it in its entirety.

Free: A set of six oak dining chairs with arms (Broomhill S10) Gifted Set of six matching solid oak carver chairs with spindle backs, shaped solid seats and swept arms — the kind you'd find in a traditional pub or restaurant. Available as a set only. Most are in good condition; a few have had running repairs including some metal plate reinforcement. Measures 88cm tall x 56cm wide. Free: Solid cherry bookcase, six shelves (Broomhill S10) Gifted Solid cherry wood open bookcase with cornice top, reeded column details and six adjustable shelves. A substantial and elegant piece. Measures 202cm tall x 99cm wide x 38cm deep. Some light surface scratches and a loose decorative panel on the lower side — nothing that a little attention wouldn't fix.
