Free: vintage HO engine for parts (Anna st in Teaneck) If anyone is a train enthsiast who likes to tinker with/repair engines you might want this. It's really heavy and I dropped it so it's not usable without repair. There is another one in our house but I'm afraid I will drop it also so I'm not opening the wooden box. If you want both your are welcome to them.
Free: pretty early 20th c. black vase (Anna st in Teaneck) Withdrawn It's always been used as a vase but I'm not sure of its original purpose. Height is about 8" and widest part is about 7.5". Link to photos
Free: Antique writing desk and chairs (Anna st in Teaneck) Gifted For antique lovers! These items can be requested individually. This desk was probably given to my parents in the 1940s by my mom's foster mother who had a lot of antiques. It is being offered as is to someone who would like a nice antique desk (without the items shown inside). However, you'll see in the shared photos that one leg has an iron brace on it. It's been that way for as long as I can remember and is not visible from the front. I believe the gold chair shown with it was added later. The original chair is shown with loose rungs that an antique lover might want to fix.
Free: Battery-operated wall clock (Anna st in Teaneck) Withdrawn This clock uses batteries separately for the pendulum and for the clock mechanism. It's 24" tall overall and 14" wide at the face.
Free: framed lithograph (Anna st in Teaneck) Gifted From the early 1900s (the frame may be of more value): 34" tall, 29" wide
Free: large scenic oil painting (Anna st in Teaneck) Withdrawn Including the frame, it is 30' wide and 28" tall. Link for viewing: This was done by a friend of ours over 40 years ago but will be too large for our new apartment.
Free: four tube bird feeders (Anna st in Teaneck) Withdrawn I have four tube feeders that are almost new. My husband and I are moving and we'd like someone to give them a new home.
Free: Moss Rose china items (Anna st in Teaneck) Gifted These "moss rose" items are available individually or as a set. The bowl is about 3.5" high and 6" in diameter. The pitcher is 5 3/4" at its tallest point and 4" at it's fullest point. The large sugar bowl is 7" tall with the lid on and about 6.5" wide. The coffee/teapot is 9" tall at the lid and about 9" wide. There are many more pieces not shown in what I was told is a luncheon set--small plates, salad bowls serving bowls, teacups and saucers. Some are stained and some are missing. One or two pieces are a different rose pattern, as if they were replacements. I will eventually post more pictures or some of the larger set when time permits.
Free: Old Cut Glass Vases (Anna st in Teaneck) Gifted I don't know enough about these to know if they are leaded glass or not, but they are very heavy. Take a look at them in this link: Interested parties do not have to take all four. I can provide more photos upon request.
Free: 19th c glass dome parrot (Anna st in Teaneck) Gifted This is a somewhat large specialty item that is better shown in a photo on request. Family lore says it belonged to my husband's relative and lived in a Jersey City saloon. The parrot and a companion canary have been in the family for about 100 years. We are moving and want to find a good home for it.
