Laptops (Free data wipe & collect) (Nationwide) Hi, I’m currently upskilling in computer hardware repair and looking for old, unwanted, or broken laptops to practice on. Any age or condition is useful to me (cracked screens, missing keys, water damage, or ancient models) gathering dust in a drawer. Whether you have just one or many of them from an office clearout, I can collect locally around Galway or arrange a free courier pick-up anywhere in Ireland. Data safety: I know people are worried about personal data left on hard drives. I run bootable data erasure software on every single drive before touch-testing any hardware. Your data will be 100% permanently erased, and I can email you a digital certificate showing data is wiped with the drive serial number once it's done. Note: Once I finish practising on these, any fixed units or usable spare parts will be resold locally to help fund tools and spare parts. Drop me a quick message if you have anything taking up space!
