Broken ThinkpadT430/T420 (Killarney)
Hey everyone, I'm a Grade 10 student in Vancouver learning low-level firmware engineering and kernel compilation. I am looking for an old, dusty, or broken Lenovo ThinkPad laptop shell to use as an embedded hardware testing sandbox. I am specifically looking for a ThinkPad T430 or a T420 (or any broken donor parts machine from that 2011-2013 generation, like a T520, W520, or X220). To respect your data privacy and keep this process zero-liability for you, I do NOT want any internal hard drives or storage media. I also don't need a battery, operating system, or power charger. I am literally just looking for the bare plastic/silicon skeleton that you might have sitting in your garage or designated for the electronic scrap bin. SHIPPING / ARRANGEMENT: Because I'm a student on a $0 budget without a vehicle, I can't do a local driving pickup. However, I will happily provide you with a Prepaid, Pre-Addressed Canada Post Shipping Label via email so it costs you nothing to send. For information please send me a message!
