Donated Pottery Kiln & Supplies (Salt Lake Valley)
ISO: Donated or low-cost pottery kiln and ceramics supplies for a talented young artist — Salt Lake Valley Hi everyone! I’m reaching out to our community in hopes of helping a talented young adult who has a real passion for ceramics. This person has previous pottery experience and a wonderful creative ability, but financial barriers have made it difficult for them to continue making art. I’m hoping someone might have pottery equipment or supplies sitting unused in a garage, basement, classroom, or studio that they would consider donating or offering at a very low cost. We’re especially looking for: * An electric pottery kiln suitable for firing ceramic clay and glaze * Pottery clay * Ceramic glazes * A pottery wheel * Glazing tongs and basic tools * Leads on affordable or donated kiln-firing services A kiln would be an incredible gift, but even one bag of suitable clay, a few tools, or a connection to someone who fires pottery would help. If you have older equipment, please feel free to reach out with its model and condition. We would make sure any kiln is inspected and can be installed safely before use. I’m helping this artist explore ways to return to something they genuinely love, and I would be so grateful for any leads. Please comment, send me a private message, or share this with someone in the local pottery community. Thank you for helping support a young artist! ❤️
