Since I couldn’t get these to work, the manufacturer, Moon-De-Age, replaced them. Maybe you‘ll have the magic touch? They‘re designed to snap onto low-voltage landscape wire plugged into a compatible transformer. The ones that work are very bright.

The heat works but the fan does not, which likely makes it unsafe except for very short, monitored use. Good for a DIYer who can repair the fan.
