I refurbish donated computers and pass them on to those who are less fortunate. At the moment I am working on a tower style computer box in which the power supply has failed. Is there anyone who is discarding an old PC from which could extract the power supply please? Thanks Richard

This was purchased by a friend 2 or 3 years ago. It was unpacked from the box, which was thrown away, and was unused. Unwittingly the supplied OEM starter ink cartridges were thrown away with the original packaging. The printer will not work (ie initialize) without those particular cartridges being installed first. Genuine Epson cartridges were fitted but did not unlock the printer. It now displays a replace ink pad warning! I have tried to reboot it but without the starter cartridges it always refuses to oblige. Suitable for spares, unless you have more luck! No mains cable.
