Free: Oil Cloth bag (Bassingbourn, SG8) Would anyone like this floral oil cloth floral bag for free. The bag is actually not very used - maybe once or twice from brand new however it’s been left in the car so will need a wipe down and freshen up but all the stitching etc looks good. The leather bits are not real leather. The main zip is broken but the flap still goes over and fastens on the side and there is another fully working zip on the outside of the bag and the internal compartment. I haven’t measured it exactly but it’s about 25/30cm across by about 20cm up so not tiny and not massive. Would fit a small tablet in like a Kindle but not a big iPad. Sorry for essay but I want to avoid any disappointment even if it’s a free item. It will need collecting from Bassingbourn and I cannot deliver sorry. If there aren’t any takers after a few days then I will just bin it.

Free: Wooden tack locker outdoor cupboard (Bassingbourn, SG8) Gifted Does anyone want this wooden tack locker as it stands for free? Would need to be collected from a village just outside of Royston. (Herts/Cambs border). It’s not in perfect condition and would need some TLC although it’s pretty functional. Has 2 locks that I’ve got keys for. It’s mostly waterproof but I probably wouldn’t recommend keeping a 4k saddle in it outside, but would be fine in a barn or outside to store inexpensive items. It’s got wheels on the bottom as well. Alternatively you could use it as a non-horsey tool shed or something as well but you may want to remove the internal saddle rack in that case. It’s very large and heavy. Wouldn’t fit in a normal car i don’t think unless it was an estate with all the seats down. I cannot help to load it unfortunately. I would estimate it’s roughly 4ft x 3ft but I can get exact measurements for anyone who is seriously interested. No time wasters please. Thank you.

Free: 5 sealed boxes vanilla Complan (Bassingbourn, SG8) Expired Offered for free: 5 completely sealed and unopened boxes of Complan sachets in vanilla flavour. This equals 20 sachets as there’s 4 in each box. All of them are in date until 12th February 2026. Must be collected from Bassingbourn please. To go altogether. Don’t need them gone urgently but I’m worried about the date on them coming up. If no one wants them by Monday 2nd February, I’m going to bin them. Thank you.

Request: Cordless home phone (landline) (Bassingbourn, SG8) Expired Wanted please. Traditional landline phone, one that’s cordless please. Doesn’t need any fancy bells and whistles - just needs to be able to make and receive calls. Unfortunately I am disabled and my mobile phone is experiencing issues making and receiving calls due to the network/mast and I cannot be in a position where I’m unable to make calls. Free: Outdoor wall mounted metal bell (Bassingbourn, SG8) Gifted Bell to ring at a door in a “WELCOME” design. Brand new in box with instructions and all parts except screws and wall plugs. No longer needed as I purchased a video doorbell instead. Must be collected from Bassingbourn - I cannot deliver. FOR FREE: Laptop Asus X552C 4gb RAM/500 GB Hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 710M • Operating System: Windows 11 Condition: • Cosmetically good: no cracks, chips, or major scratches • Functionally slow: extremely slow startup and loading times despite specs - this may be fixable with an upgrade, but no guarantees • Smoke-free, pet-friendly home • Has been totally wiped except the operating system (no personal things on it) Included: • Laptop • Genuine ASUS charger Not Included: • Original box or manuals Please note: 1. The battery no longer holds a charge. The laptop only works while plugged in. 2. The charger connects and works, but the fit is loose. Any small movement can disconnect it, so it needs to stay still whilst in use. (I held it in place with duck tape). Giving away due to lack of use and underperformance. This machine might suit a tech-savvy person or someone who wants it for basic tasks, upgrades, or parts. Must be collected from Bassingbourn. No delivery available whatsoever.

Request: Carpet - can be offcuts & used (Bassingbourn, SG8) Received Hi everyone. I’m looking for either a large rug or carpet offcuts for use in an outbuilding. It doesn’t have to be perfect condition for a pristine show home. Imperfections aren’t an issue as long as they are disclosed. My only proviso is that it’s quite thick/stiff and more difficult to ruck up than a cheap rubber backed mat or runner. I’d prefer it if the colours were traditional or plain without any modern designs on like footballs or cartoons. I’m free to collect at most times that are mutually convenient, I’m quite flexible on days and times. Happy to collect from most places around North Herts. Thanks ever so much.
