I have 3 pieces of this - it's not plastic backed but I don't know what the actual carpet is made out of. I remember allotment holders looking for only natural fibres so biodegradable. It is about 50 years old if that helps.

Fisher price Baby seat unclips easily to carry it around separately from the swing bit. Slightly torn fabric underneath but still works fine, can't really be seen and I don't think the baby will mind! Just tested it and the batteries seem fine but may need replacing soon. A few marks here and there as you'd expect.

Dusky pink leather 2 seater and one seater and foot stool. A few imperfections bit not in the places you usually look - e.g. near the floor. Seems to be very durable and good quality. Very comfy and nothing wrong with the springs. Move round quite easily on slidey feet (on carpet at least). Not immensely heavy.
