Request: PS/2 port keyboard (Walthamstow, E17) I'm trying to resurrect an old computer but I'm having trouble with a keyboard. I have a USB keyboard that mostly works but then the PC won't recognise it and won't turn on. There is a PS/2 port that might work better. Do you have a PS/2 keyboard or converter to USB? I'm trying to get this old computer working so that I can use its floppy disk drive to read an old floppy.

Free: Camera remote control (Walthamstow, E17) Expired A very old infrared remote control for cameras. Works with a variety of brands but the instructions list models from many years ago. Nothing modern. I doubt brands change their infrared systems so I think it should work with something new, but can't guarantee.

Request: Car Roof Box (Walthamstow, E17) Expired Years ago I gave away two car roof boxes thinking that I would never use them again. Guess what? I need a car roof box! If you, like I had, a roof box taking up space 'just in case to go for long trip' then I will happily use it for this year's summer holiday. Any condition of roof box will be considered. Request: MP3 player (Walthamstow, E17) Expired Hi, I work in nursery and we love to play music. We struggle to connect iPad WiFi and then connecting to Bluetooth boombox. I'm wondering if a simple MP3 player might be easier to connect and just have music loaded onto it. If you have one to spare then it would be put to good use.

Request: USB sticks and micro SD (Walthamstow, E17) Expired I work in a nursery and we love to dance to music. I want to store music on specific USB sticks and/or micro SD cards for different occasions: community day, sports days, every day from Mon to Fri. It is silly for the nursery to buy modern disks that start at 16GB disks when I only have 50Mb of music to be used. Do you have old (probably classified as 'vintage' nowadays) disks in Mb: 62Mb, 128Mb or 512Mb.
Request: 3/8" fibre washers for taps (Walthamstow, E17) Expired Hi, I'm repairing bath taps and need two fibre flat washers. I believe I need 3/8" washers or something that has an external diameter of 14.7mm. Before buying a pack of 100 from Toolstation I was wondering if anyone has a couple of suitable washers to spare. Ideally, no more than a 20 minute walk from E17, Winns Primary School and available to pick up today (Saturday 16th) or early-ish Sunday morning. Hope someone can help, otherwise I'll soon be offering a pack of 98 washers :-)

Free: Chromebook running Linux (Walthamstow, E17) Gifted Please read description carefully. This is not a simple Chromebook. HP Chromebook. 2GB Ram. 16GB drive. Hewlett Packard stopped supporting this Chromebook many years ago. I decided to hack it to use Linux. Back in the day, I used Gallium (a Chromebook Linux) but that's now discontinued and so using a generic Linux. Chromebook keyboard does not work as expected and other problems might appear, depending on how you use it. Battery holds charge. Charger included. Currently running lubuntu in OEM mode so that you can finish the setup with your own settings. It's a wonderful little machine for simple, slow use. Don't open too many apps at once and don't expect fast performance. If you are really serious about using this then please do briefly explain how and why in your requests. Tell me that you understand Linux and its limitations. The last photo shows exactly to what I will not respond. Generic "give it to me" from someone 20miles away and within 60secs of posting.

Don't suppose anyone has a stash of drive belts and can spare one? Searching on eBay, it looks like the belts are measured as 'folded length.' I need 40mm. Hope somebody can help.
