Free: Fermentation lids for Mason jars (OX10 Cholsey) Here are 4 fermentation lids for Mason Jars (American Brand). They do NOT fit British Kilner jars. I didn't know that! The opening is the same size, but the thread is different. You add water to the top, which creates an airlock allowing CO2 to escape without germs getting in. Diameter outer probably 3" , inner more like 2 3/4. Also on other sites.

Free: Digital caliper - faulty (OX10 Cholsey) The display is very faint even after I changed the battery. Feels solid and good quality though, so would be great if someone knows how to fix it.

Free: Mains smoke alarm and fitting (OX10 Cholsey) A mains powered smoke alarm with battery back-up, which is suitable for interconnection. Separate ceiling base also included. Please DO NOT use as your MAIN alarm as it is a year out of date, but definitely working as I have tested repeatedly by burning the toast.

Free: Black&Decker 36V batteries (OX10 Cholsey) Gifted These 36V batteries are working, but not perfect. As shown in the picture they basically only charge to 2 bars which is acceptable to my strimmer and hedge trimmer, but not the lawn mower. Thus, they are unlikely to work with other very power-hungry gadgets such as power drills.

Free: Strainers for tea and coffee (OX10 Cholsey) Bits from cafetiere and teapot. Glass on both is missing, but they are interchangeable and would work with a mug. Also, people turn broken cafetieres into stylish ear ring holders, but I don't wear ear rings!

Free: Holdall spares or repair (OX10 Cholsey) Gifted Large wheeled bag with rucksack straps in need of repair. The bit that NORMALLY breaks, i.e. wheels and handle is absolutely fine, but other bits would need sewing up. It's a shame as it has lots of useful pockets and is quite lightweight.

Request: 27" back wheel for vintage bicycle (OX10 Cholsey) Expired Looking for a 27" freewheel back wheel for dreailleur gears (near to Cholsey as I don't have a car). This was typically used in 1960-1980s road bikes and is slightly smaller than the size used on modern road bikes. Happy to trade for a different size.

Free: Organic removal cartridge (OX10 Cholsey) Expired Overall length about 45 cm, cartridge length 36 cm. Unused and unopened, but long out of date. This was for a laboratory water purifier, but may suit a larger domestic one too. - or for a curious mind to cut open and find out what is in it (activated charcoal is my bet)
