Free: Blue velveteen occasional chair (North Van Etten) This chair has some damage- the cat used the legs as a scratching post and one corner of the seat caved in a bit and was used recently with a supplemental cushion. The velveteen fabric is surprisingly cat hair resistant- any hairs vacuum off easily. This chair has an exact mate in better shape, albeit also with cat scratched legs. Take one or both.

Free: Media cabinet (North Van Etten) Wooden media cabinet that holds loads of DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, books, etc. In excellent condition, a nice piece of furniture. 29" High, 23 11/16" Wide, 11/3/4" Deep. We sadly have to give it up for putting a dog crate in its place. Can meet in Ithaca but preferably, please pick it up at your convenience in North Van Etten, just south of the Newfield town line.

Free: Kitchen chairs (North Van Etten) Set of four kitchen chairs. Fully functional but the white parts need repainting and there are a couple loose spindles to reglue. There is a reinforcing cross brace between the legs that doesn't show in the photo. I might be able to pack them in my car but it would be nicer if you came here to North Van Etten to pick them up.

Free: Dress form (North Van Etten) Gifted Dress form fully adjustable to exact measurements. It has a pedestal- not all shown in the photo- that puts it at a good working height. I haven't done any sewing for quite a while but found it useful back in the day. Can meet up in Ithaca.

Free: Plastic gallon milk jugs (North Van Etten) I have dozens of clean gallon milk jugs that contained distilled or spring water. Someone in this group cuts them down and uses the base to start seedlings- sorry to have lost touch with him. There are a lot of other uses for them- just google and help to keep them out of the landfill. Can meet up.

Free: Scrap metal to recycle for $$ (North Van Etten) Miscellaneous scrap metal for someone with a truck: a rusting shelving unit, extra large metal shelves, plus a bucket of bolts, canning jar lids, other misc. Can pick up at your convenience.

Free: Chef King Steel griddle (North Van Etten) Gifted This double burner griddle is well seasoned but got warped from being overheated. It's heavy duty steel and bigger than most griddles out there. We used it by moving things around on the griddle so they'd cook evenly. I thought of taking it to an autobody shop to pound it out, but instead we bought another just like it and have been treating it more gently. Free: Jelly jars (North Van Etten) Gifted An assortment of commercial jelly jars. A few more have been added since the photo was taken. One is without a lid. I do come to Ithaca and Elmira on occasion so a meetup can be arranged. But you are welcome to come here as well.

Request: carpet scraps (North Van Etten) Expired Wanted: carpet pieces at least 30 x 42 to go in my dog's crate. He is chewing on expensive dog beds so enough of that. Closely tufted carpet would be best- no shag that would be more tempting to chew up. Thanks!

Free: Twin mattresses (North Van Etten) Expired Standard sized Sealy Classic mattresses. Very old and tired but they seem too good to send to the landfill. Should work for children/students, especially with a topper. Will try to add photos later.
